After attending several conferences in person again last year, where I met many inspiring people and gathered countless excellent and valuable ideas, I am currently planning my conference visits for this year. I will definitely be attending the following conferences:
ComoCamp, The Collaborative Modeling Unconference in Vienna, 6-9 May 2024: A two-day unconference centered around Collaborative Modeling, featuring many of the methods’ inventors. The additional Intro Day offers quick dives into these modeling techniques, making it a prime opportunity for those keen to explore collaborative modeling. I will contribute a session in which we will explore Liberating Structures and their principles in order to lead even better (!) collaborative modeling sessions.
Domain-Driven Design Europe in Amsterdam, 27-31 May 2024 (confirmed as a speaker 😊): A must-attend for those interested in Domain-Driven Design, offering deep dives into domain modeling, complex software architectures and promoting discussions on best practices in software development.
AxonIQ Conf, also in Amsterdam, 25-26 September 2024: This specialized conference focuses on the Axon Framework and enabling microservices through event sourcing and CQRS. It’s a great place to learn about building scalable and maintainable applications. Tickets are still available at the Blind Bird price!
KanDDDinsky in Berlin, 28-30 October 2024: A DDD conference crafted by and for “Business Software Artists”, notable for its Open Space Day which fosters deep discussions and collaborative ideation among attendees. It’s an ideal setting for those passionate about pushing the boundaries of Domain-Driven Design. Tickets are still available at the Blind Bird price!
I’m looking forward to gaining new insights, sharing knowledge, and connecting with fellow professionals. If you’re around, let’s meet up!
